Two Halves, One Story

Two Halves, One Story was an experiential design, created to visually show and express the feelings of this day.

…because feelings are hard to put into words.

A huge thanks to the team that made this installation possible:

Fabrication: Boko

Photographer: Kieran Darcy

Designer: Amy Esplen

Rough Work

Each Half represent the relationships we have with each other and those around us. They are not perfect shapes because what relationship is, they have ups and downs and ins and outs because that's what makes us stronger. These shapes represent Two Halves creating one story.

The boxes also known as glamorous seating, were wheat-pasted with a collection of images, that show the contrast of one or more things coming together.

Each image shows two things coming together and creating something different. Because this day marks not just two people joining but two communities becoming one.

This was a true experiential design, empty the design is striking. But when it is filled with the people that inspired the design, it truly comes to life.

Pretty freaking cool.
